Are you looking for a Finance & Accounts Administrator or Junior Accountant job with flexible working options? This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in bookkeeping, VAT administration, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, invoice processing, and financial reporting.
The selected candidate will play a key role in managing daily accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting Dutch accounting procedures. Candidates with experience in QuickBooks, Xero, Exact Online, Moneybird, Twinfield, AFAS, Shopify accounting, WooCommerce accounting, Amazon accounting, and e-commerce bookkeeping are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase and sales invoices
- Maintain bookkeeping and accounting records
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare monthly financial reports
- Assist with Dutch VAT/BTW reporting
- Organize tax and year-end financial documentation
- Coordinate with accountants and tax advisors
- Support payroll and finance administration
- Monitor cash flow and payment schedules
- Ensure financial accuracy and compliance
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Knowledge of financial administration and reporting
- Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Exact Online, Twinfield, Moneybird, AFAS, or similar software
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets skills
- Good English communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Understanding of invoices, payments, reconciliations, and bookkeeping procedures
Preferred Skills
- Dutch VAT/BTW experience
- E-commerce accounting experience
- Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon, and marketplace accounting knowledge
- EU VAT and cross-border transaction experience
- Profit and loss reporting skills
- Cash flow management experience
- Import/export accounting knowledge
- Dutch language proficiency
