About the Role
This exciting Financial Accountant role is ideal for professionals with experience in real estate development, property investment, and multi-entity accounting structures. The successful candidate will take full ownership of financial reporting, management accounts, statutory accounts, VAT returns, CIS compliance, cash flow forecasting, and financial consolidations across multiple UK entities.
Working closely with senior finance leaders, property managers, auditors, and external advisors, you will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts
✔ Manage multi-entity consolidations and intercompany reconciliations
✔ Produce statutory financial statements under FRS 102 and IFRS
✔ Prepare and submit VAT Returns and CIS Returns
✔ Manage cash flow forecasting and treasury activities
✔ Process supplier payments and banking transactions
✔ Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
✔ Support financial reporting and compliance activities
Candidate Requirements
- AAT Qualified, ACCA Qualified, Part Qualified, or Qualified by Experience
- Real estate development accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards
- Experience with financial statements and consolidations
- VAT and CIS reporting expertise
- Cash management and forecasting experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- UK Right to Work required
- Sage 200 and Advanced Excel skills preferred
