INTECH Automation & Intelligence Trainee Engineer Job
As a Trainee Engineer, you will receive structured training and hands-on exposure to automation and control technologies used across industries including Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Utilities, and Renewable Energy.
The role provides an opportunity to learn about PLC, SCADA, DCS, SIS, Fire & Gas systems, instrumentation, control systems, and industrial automation. You will assist senior engineers with installation, testing, commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, site surveys, technical assessments, and engineering activities.
You may also gain experience reviewing engineering documents such as P&IDs, Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), Cause & Effect diagrams, control narratives, and control philosophies.
Trainee Engineer Job Responsibilities
Selected candidates will:
- Participate in structured training related to automation, control, and instrumentation systems.
- Assist senior engineers with installation, testing, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting.
- Support site surveys and technical assessments.
- Gain practical exposure to PLC, SCADA, DCS, SIS, and Fire & Gas systems.
- Develop foundational PLC and SCADA programming skills.
- Support control system engineering and project activities.
- Review technical engineering documents under supervision.
- Coordinate with engineers, customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Monitor assigned project activities and technical deliverables.
- Follow HSE requirements and safe working practices.
Eligibility Criteria
