Job Purpose

The Officer – Payment Operations is responsible for processing domestic and international payment transactions, inward and outward remittances, clearing services, RTGS payments, and fund transfers while ensuring complete compliance with banking regulations and internal operating procedures.

The role focuses on delivering accurate transaction processing within standard turnaround times (TAT), maintaining operational efficiency, reducing processing errors, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • Processing inward and outward foreign remittances.
  • Managing RTGS payment transactions.
  • Processing inward clearing cheques and fund transfers.
  • Reconciling General Ledger (GL) entries.
  • Coordinating with local and international correspondent banks.
  • Ensuring compliance with banking regulations and sanction screening.
  • Preparing and submitting regulatory reports.
  • Resolving payment-related customer and internal queries.
  • Maintaining operational records and documentation.
