Pavago is hiring a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee financial reporting, payroll management, month-end close processes, sales tax compliance, budgeting support, and multi-entity accounting operations.
This remote accounting position is ideal for finance professionals with strong expertise in GAAP accounting, accrual-based accounting, QuickBooks Online, payroll processing, financial analysis, and compliance reporting. The role offers the opportunity to work with complex business structures while contributing to accurate financial management and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Manage month-end close and financial reporting processes
✔ Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) operations
✔ Process payroll using Gusto and similar payroll software
✔ Maintain general ledger accuracy across multiple entities
✔ Handle U.S. sales tax filings and compliance requirements
✔ Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
✔ Create custom financial reports and business performance dashboards
✔ Improve accounting workflows and documentation processes
✔ Collaborate with leadership and client stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounting or finance experience
- Strong GAAP and accrual accounting knowledge
- Experience with multi-entity accounting environments
- Advanced QuickBooks Online expertise
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Payroll processing experience
- U.S. sales tax compliance experience
- Excellent English communication skills
