Finance SME Job Responsibilities

As a Finance Subject Matter Expert, you will help train and improve AI systems using real accounting workflows and finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create finance workflow prompts and accounting scenarios
• Review AI-generated accounting responses
• Build invoices, reconciliations, bills, and GL datasets
• Identify duplicate invoices, GAAP errors, and sync failures
• Improve AI performance in finance and accounting operations
• Work with finance automation systems and AI tools

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience Required:

• 4–12 years of finance or accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of:
  • QuickBooks
  • Bill.com
  • Concur
• Understanding of US GAAP and finance controls
• Excellent written communication skills
• Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA or CMA certification
• Experience with ERP systems
• Multi-currency or multi-entity accounting experience
• AI evaluation or LLM project experience
• Basic SQL or Python skills
