Key Responsibilities
The Assistant Manager Accounting will handle a variety of finance and accounting tasks, including:
- Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Reviewing annual and interim financial statements
- Performing budgeting and cash flow forecasting
- Conducting variance analysis and financial analysis
- Supporting board reporting and committee reporting
- Reviewing junior team members’ work for quality assurance
- Preparing technical accounting papers and accounting memoranda
- Ensuring compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP standards
- Managing multiple accounting deadlines efficiently
- Delivering accurate financial reporting solutions

Required Experience
Applicants should have:
- 3–5 years of accounting or finance experience
- Experience in month-end and year-end closing
- Knowledge of financial reporting and tax compliance
- Experience in audit firms or professional services environments
- Exposure to financial services industry operations
- Experience reviewing work and guiding junior staff
- Strong understanding of accounting standards and regulations
Experience in offshore financial services will be considered a plus point.

Educational Requirements
