Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Manager Accounting will handle a variety of finance and accounting tasks, including:

  • Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
  • Reviewing annual and interim financial statements
  • Performing budgeting and cash flow forecasting
  • Conducting variance analysis and financial analysis
  • Supporting board reporting and committee reporting
  • Reviewing junior team members’ work for quality assurance
  • Preparing technical accounting papers and accounting memoranda
  • Ensuring compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP standards

Required Experience

  • 3–5 years of accounting or finance experience
  • Experience in month-end and year-end closing

  • Exposure to financial services industry operations
  • Experience reviewing work and guiding junior staff
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and regulations

Experience in offshore financial services will be considered a plus point.


Qualifications & Skills

Educational Requirements
